Oklahoma State football: Cowboys pressing to play faster
The Big 12 is no stranger to fast-paced, explosive offenses as a conference. Neither is Oklahoma State. But despite winning handily over Central Michigan in their season opener, the Cowboys will aim to play faster in the weeks ahead.
Asked if he thought his offense played fast enough on Thursday night, head coach Mike Gundy had this to say:
“Not really. It was better. I didn't think we played fast enough as an offense.”
Rudolph agreed to an extent, but he thinks OK State needs to be more energized right from kickoff.
“I felt like we got the tempo rolling in the second half,” Rudolph said. “And when that happens, man, I feel like we're firing on all cylinders and playing good football.”
