Notre Dame recruit tabbed all-star game MVP

Khalid Kareem, a four-star defensive end from Farmington Hills (Mich.) Harrison High School, went to Carson, Calif., and brought home some hardware from the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl on Sunday.

Kareem was named the MVP of the game after recovering two fumbles, one of which he returned for a touchdown.

Per the South Bend Tribune, Kareem is set to enroll in school in this month and take part in spring practice with the Fighting Irish.

Notre Dame commit Jamir Jones, a three-star linebacker from Rochester, N.Y., also took part in the game and had an interception.

He is the younger brother of Fighting Irish defensive lineman Jarron Jones.
