Notre Dame QBs of past and present connect
The past met the present on Saturday as current Notre Dame quarterback Malik Zaire hooked up with former Fighting Irish QB Brady Quinn for a throwing session.
Quinn starred for the Irish from 2003-06 and set records for passing yards, completions and touchdown passes before getting drafted by the Cleveland Browns with the 22nd overall pick in the 2007 NFL draft.
Zaire, a junior, has completed 21 of his 35 career pass attempts for 266 yards and one touchdown.
