Nebraska OC Langsdorf: BYU is no joke

If BYU fans were hoping that Nebraska might overlook the Cougars in their 2015 opener on Sept. 5, they better think again.

In a recent interview with Husker Extra, Nebraska offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf praised the Cougars football team saying, "They're no joke."

When asked what he thought about the Cornhuskers opener against BYU Langsdorf told Husker Extra, "(BYU) is a team we have a lot of experience with and they are no joke. A very good team. They play hard. Older, mature, give you a lot of different looks. They’re athletic, they’re tough. It’s not a game that you feel like, ‘OK, we can go and just play a bunch of guys.’ We’re going to have to play very well to beat them.”

Nebraska finished the 2014 season with a 9-4 (5-3 Big 10) record, while BYU ended the year 8-5. The two teams will meet up in Nebraska on Sept. 5 at 2:30 p.m. (CDT).
