Michigan State's win over Penn State can be summed up in 1 photo

The final score indicates Michigan State pounded Penn State on Saturday.

The Spartans won 55-16, posting 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to bust open what had been a close game.

Although the Nittany Lions were only outgained 436-418 in total yards, they never led in the game.

Michigan State scored first then kept the Nittany Lions at arm's length before pulling away.

So a picture of the final touchdown said a lot about what transpired at Spartan Stadium.

No matter what the Nittany Lions tried, they just couldn't get on MSU's level. Even if an offensive lineman was taking a handoff.

Jack Allen's 9-yard run with 9:48 left was the final score of the game, a punctuation mark for the seasons of both teams.

While the 11-1 Spartans are headed to the Big Ten championship game, the Nittany Lions fell to 7-5 with losses to four teams that won at least 10 games (MSU, Ohio State, Northwestern and Temple) as well as nine-game winner Michigan.

When all was said and done, Penn State just could not touch the top teams it faced, and Michigan State is rolling on.
