Michigan State's Burbridge honored for big week three

If Michigan State football went into week three on upset alert, Aaron Burbridge did what he could to cancel that as soon as possible.

The senior receiver from Farmington Hills, Mich., caught three touchdown passes, including one of the spectacular variety in the first half, as the Spartans beat Air Force 35-21.

He was picked the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week after totaling eight catches for 156 yards.

It was his third straight 100-yard receiving game to start the season, and his selection ended a long drought for the Spartans.

The last MSU player to be chosen Big Ten OPOW was Jeremy Langford in Oct. 2013.
