Michigan State Football: Injury report for BYU game
Let’s take a look at the Week 6 injury report for Michigan State football’s matchup against BYU.
Losing to Wisconsin was an unwelcome surprise a couple of weeks ago for Michigan State football, but dropping a road contest against Indiana was just unacceptable. This team isn’t playing very good football at the moment, and the players and coaches are holding themselves accountable.

It’s always nice to hear that these guys are angry with the struggles and are hungry to turn things around, but it’s just talk until they hit the field and prove they’re ready to fix things. Will Michigan State be at full-strength on Saturday, though?
Here’s the injury report for Michigan State and BYU Saturday:
Michigan State: CB Darian Hicks (hip), probable; LB Chris Frey (arm), probable; C Brian Allen (arm), probable; RB LJ Scott (leg), probable; LB Jon Reschke (ankle), out; LB Riley Bullough (shoulder), out; DT Raequan Williams (arm), out; Malik McDowell (targeting), out for first half
BYU: DT Travis Tuiloma (foot), probable; K Jake Oldroyd (back), questionable; LB Butch Pau’u (knee), questionable; CB Troy Warner (hamstring), questionable; OL Ului Lapuaho (undisclosed), out indefinitely; LB Sae Tautu (suspension), out for first half
Just like last season, the injury bug is starting to bite the Spartans hard. Hopefully all of those probables are able to play seeing as they weren’t made into a big deal this week
Being down Riley Bullough for another week as well as Jon Reschke, possibly for the season, and Raequan Williams for 1-2 weeks definitely hurts the Spartans’ front-seven against a strong ground game. However, the ‘next man up’ philosophy will pay off once again for Michigan State.
