Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh speaks out on his players protesting national anthem
Around the country, football players and fans are following the lead of Colin Kaepernick and publicly protesting the national anthem as a way of speaking out about injustice in America.
Some people are kneeling, like SMU band members did this weekend. Some are raising extended fists, like some Michigan State players did on Saturday. Some are sitting, like Texas State students did.
On Saturday, some Michigan players joined in, raising their fists during the anthem before the Wolverines played Penn State.

After the game, head coach Jim Harbaugh was asked for his thoughts (watch the video at the top).
Harbaugh had already spoken out once on this topic before when Kaepernick -- Harbaugh's former quarterback with the San Francisco 49ers -- first protested the anthem saying, "I acknowledge his right to do that, but I don't respect the motivation or the action."
Afterwards, Harbaugh felt the need to offer an apology and clarification for those comments.
