Meyer: Decker, Washington returning for Ohio State next season

DALLAS -- Ohio State coach Urban Meyer says offensive tackle Taylor Decker and defensive tackle Adolphus Washington had told him they will return for their senior seasons.

Decker was a second-team All-Big Ten selection. The 6-foot-7, 315-pound junior held down left tackle for the Buckeyes (14-1).

Washington was an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection. The 6-4, 295-pound junior had 45 tackles and 3.5 sacks.

Meyer said Sunday during his last news conference before the College Football Playoff national championship game against Oregon that Decker and Washington were the only underclassmen from Ohio State considering an early jump to the NFL.

Meyer also re-iterated that he expects quarterback Braxton Miller, who injured his shoulder, to be part of the team next season.
