Mecole Hardman Jr. elects to stay home, commits to Georgia
Elite athlete Mecole Hardman Jr. was one of the few remaining "big fish" left on the board in the 2016 class.
A native of Bowman, Ga., Hardman Jr. had the likes of Michigan, Ohio State, Clemson, and Alabama pining for his services. However, as many have previously said, "There's no place like home."
Hardman Jr. decided to sign with the hometown Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday. It's a massive coup for Kirby Smart and his staff -- as they lured perhaps the best player in the entire state of Georgia to Athens.

Hardman Jr. is an explosive athlete with the ball in his hands. Not only can he function incredibly well as a receiver, but he also is dynamic on special teams. With that said, corner could be his best position moving forward.
Hardman Jr.'s positional versatility -- coupled with his athleticism -- makes him a potentially special player for Georgia.
