Maryland vs Nebraska live stream: Watch Terrapins vs Cornhuskers online
Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s Maryland vs Nebraska game from Memorial Stadium online.
Nebraska started the season 7-0 and it looked like the Cornhuskers might legitimately make the College Football Playoff, but they have since come down to earth. Nebraska has lost a couple of games and one, in particular, was tough to swallow — a 62-3 loss to Ohio State.
Tommy Armstrong has been banged up all season long but will look to be healthy for Saturday’s game. He has been solid this season, passing for 2,055 yards and 13 touchdowns while rushing for another 499 yards and eight touchdowns.
The only rusher ahead of Armstrong on the team’s leaderboard is Terrell Newby. While life hasn’t been the same in the backfield since the days of Rex Burkhead and Ameer Abdullah, Newby has held his own. He has rushed for 727 yards and four touchdowns.
Maryland has seen the program turn around ever so slightly this season. The Terrapins are no longer the laughing stock of the Big Ten and went from 3-9 last year to 5-5 this season with two games left. The main difference? New head coach D.J. Durkin.
Perry Hills has been the team’s starting quarterback for most of the year but might be out for Saturday’s game. He has been inconsistent and you can tell the team would be much better with a quality QB under center.
Lorenzo Harrison and Ty Johnson have been the major bright spots on offense, though. The underclassmen has impressed in the backfield, acting as a deadly one-two punch. The have combined for 1,289 yards and nine touchdowns.
