LSU pushing for recent Auburn decommitment

Although signing day for the class of 2016 is less than a month away, it isn't stopping schools from pursuing 2017 prospects. 

On Tuesday, talented '17 signal-caller Lowell Narcisse went on Twitter -- denouncing his commitment to Auburn. As such, it's expected LSU will push hard for the Saint James, La. product. 

Narcisse admitted he may have been a bit hasty in selecting Auburn over a year before he steps foot on any college campus. "I think I rushed and made a premature decision," said Narcisse. "I still plan to communicate and nurture a relationship with [Auburn]. But at this time I will open my recruitment back up."

A dual-threat quarterback, the 6'2" lefty is exceptionally lethal with the ball as both a thrower and as a runner. An ACL injury kept Narcisse from participating in the regular season of high school schedule. However, he did return in time for the playoffs -- registering 11 total touchdowns in only four games. 

While he may not make a decision anytime soon, his decommitment opens the door for LSU and a host of other schools to make a good impression.
