Via a report from 247sports, LSU and Les Miles extended a scholarship offer to 2019 prospect Ani Izuchukwu. A freshman from Davidson Academy in Nashville, Izuchukwu is a 6'4", 230-pound athlete. LSU decided to offer the youngster after watching him work out during a PE class.
When watching his high school tape, there's no question the athleticism, length, and talent is there for Izuchukwu to one day become a highly-productive player. It will be fascinating to see how he ultimately develops.
It also won't be a shock to see fellow programs around the SEC extend scholarship offers to Izuchukwu sooner rather than later.
