LSU football team visits displaced Baton Rouge families

The overwhelming flooding in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has been nothing short of a catastrophe. Lives have been taken, homes have been destroyed and families have lost everything.

On Thursday, in an effort to bring just a glimmer of joy to the devastated community, the LSU football program visited displaced families currently living at Baton Rouge's Celtic Media Centre -- and the results were fantastic:

Listen, the visit isn't going to single-handedly rebuild these families' places of residence, but this is what community and people helping people is all about.

In a conversation with BRProud's Brian Hollan, quarterback Brandon Harris said it best:

Powerful stuff right here. Props to the LSU program for making this happen so quickly.
