Louisville football team posts record GPA
After setting a Louisville school record with 10 NFL draft picks this year, the Cardinals learned they’re a standout bunch in the classroom as well.
This year, the Louisville football team produced a 2.83 grade-point average for the spring semester, the highest registered GPA in the program’s history.
"I'm very proud of the commitment our players showed in the classroom this semester," head coach Bobby Petrino said. "To post the highest grade-point average in our history means a lot to our dedication to academics at the University of Louisville. I'm very appreciative of the efforts of the entire academic support staff and our student-athletes in posting such an outstanding achievement."
