Lee Corso's College GameDay headgear pick: Florida State vs. Louisville

Lee Corso makes his famous headgear pick in GameDays first visit to Louisville. Who will Corso pick?

For the first time in school history, the Louisville Cardinals will have the honor of hosting College GameDay. Although it seemed that when Week 3 would roll around that the GameDay crew would head to Norman, Oklahoma, that was not the case.

Oklahoma’s Week 1 loss to Houston probably cost them the chance to host GameDay. Subsequently, Lamar Jackson has led Louisville into the Top 10, and earned the privilege to host.

The GameDay matchup will feature a battle of two top ten ACC powerhouses. No. 2 Florida State vs. No. 10 Louisville. Louisville will look to avenge the 20-point loss they took to Florida State last year in Tallahassee.

A subplot to the already intriguing matchup is that of the two possible Heisman contenders: Florida State junior running back Dalvin Cook and Louisville sophomore QB Lamar Jackson.

Dalvin Cook will look to have a performance much like the one he had against Louisville last year. Lamar Jackson on the other hand shot out of the gates and left them burning.

In just two games, Lamar Jackson has thrown for 697 yards and seven touchdowns. He has run for 318 yards and six touchdowns. 13 total touchdowns in two games. Louisville will also be wearing helmets to honor Muhammad Ali.

Of course, Lamar Jackson and Dalvin Cook isn’t all the people came to see.  The College football GameDay headgear pick is a fan favorite for all the viewers and for all the fans that fill the GameDay set.

After going just 6-12 last year, Lee Corso will continue the quest to right the ship. He started the 2016 season with yet another wrong pick. Lee Corso took LSU over Wisconsin. He should have listened to Aaron Rodgers. In week 2 he got it right. He took Tennessee over Virginia Tech. Lee Corso is back to .500 and looking to go back over .500 for the first time since week one of the 2015 college football season.

Lee Corso picked Louisville and put on a Cardinal head.

Now, fans will be getting pumped up at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium to hope cheer on Louisville as they try to pull off the major upset and prove Corso made the right choice.
