Jonathan Jones headed to the Senior Bowl

Looking to improve his NFL Draft stock, Auburn senior cornerback Jonathan Jones has accepted his invitation to the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.

While Jones had only one interception this season, he started every game this season for the Tigers and lead Auburn with 11 pass breakups. Jones had six interceptions his junior season. Jones had 22 pass breakups and 127 combined tackles in his college career.

Looking to go out on a high note and win his first bowl game at Auburn in his final opportunity, Jones had this to say on the team's Dec. 30 matchup against Memphis.

“It being my last game I just want to go out on a high note,” Jones said. “I know a lot of the seniors do want to go out on a win and leave the program headed in the right direction for next year.”
