Jim Harbaugh got literary talking about how Wolverines will respond to MSU loss

Michigan football does not have a game this week, but Jim Harbaugh is still making the rounds in public.

And maybe brushing up on classic American literature?

The coach of the Wolverines quoted Hemingway when taking about how he and his team will respond to a last-play loss to rivals Michigan State last Saturday.

"Man can be destroyed but not defeated," he reportedly told the crowd at the Pizza House in Ann Arbor for his weekly Michigan football radio show.

That quote -- taken from Ernest Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea" -- may be a favorite of Harbaugh's, as he also used it during his days with the 49ers.
