Jim Harbaugh explains why he brought a glove to World Series
I think we can all agree that Jim Harbaugh is unique. He is going to do things that make him happy, whether they are popular or not, and there's nothing you can do to stop it.
On Sunday night, Michigan's head coach attended Game 5 of the World Series at Wrigley Field between the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians. He brought a companion with him. Yes, his father technically counts as his companion, but in this specific instance the reference is to his baseball glove.
Yup, Harbaugh is that guy -- and it could not be anymore perfect. MLB.com caught up with Harbaugh, and he explained why he was in attendance, how the magnitude of this World Series compared to big games he's participated in the past, and of course: why he brought his glove.
Seeing how he's caught almost 20 balls at games with the glove and wears cleats to throw out the first pitch ...
... it should not surprise anyone that Harbaugh, once again, is a rare form of role model.
