Jim Harbaugh announces new, unique Michigan football award

Year one at Michigan for Jim Harbaugh was pretty successful and pretty unique.

After an offseason full of headlines, Harbaugh led the Wolverines to nine wins and a Citrus Bowl bid against Florida.

With a break in the action until Michigan heads south to take on the Gators, so it should probably come as no surprise Harbaugh is back to making headlines off the field.

Wednesday he revealed a new award: Michigan Football Employee of the Year.

Nominees included assistant coach Greg Mattison as well as "analytics analyst" Al Ades, director of equipment operations Brad Berlin and Jody Fullerton, who is listed as a former prep hockey coach who "provides full-service custodial services" at the team's football facility.
