Jayhawks pick up speedy WR from Huntsville, Texas

Head coach David Beaty is wasting no time on the recruiting trail. The Jayhawks boss' picked up a commit from 3-star wide receiver Jay Griffin. Griffin was once a Utah commit.

“I can play anywhere and will play wherever they need me,” Griffin said. “I just want to help them win a championship.”

Kansas desperately needed help on the outside, and Griffin should provide a deep threat. 

“I had a good relationship with all of their coaches and I like their school,” Griffin said. “They have a lot to offer. I talked to coach Perry the most. He just told me he will help me get to where I wanted to be.”
