Jared Goff named to Manning Award watch list

Junior QB Jared Goff has been named to the Manning Award watch list. The Manning Award is presented annually to the nation's best quarterback.

 

Goff was one of the best quarterbacks in college football last season and figures to be in the mix for Pac-12 player of the year honors, should he stay healthy. Last season, Goff passed for 3,973 yards and 35 touchdowns, while throwing only seven interceptions.

 

Last season, Oregon's Marcus Mariota took home the Manning Award.
