Jared Goff named to Davey O'Brien Award watch list

Cal QB Jared Goff has been named to the 2015 Davey O'Brien Award watch list. The Davey O'Brien Award is presented annually to the nation's top quarterback.

Goff, a junior, is quickly becoming the most accomplished QB in school history since Aaron Rodgers. As a sophomore in 2014, Goff threw for 3,973 yards and 35 touchdowns, while only throwing 7 interceptions. 

Goff is expected to a be a first-round selection in the 2016 NFL Draft, should he decide to leave school a year early.
