James appears to hurt left elbow
Oregon running back LaMichael James left Saturday's rivalry game against Oregon State in the third quarter after what appeared to be an injury to his left elbow.
James went down after a hit by Beavers linebacker Tony Wilson and held his left arm limply when he left the field. He was treated with ice on the sideline.
Going into the game, James was the nation's leading rusher with an average of 142.78 yards per game. He ran for 142 yards and a touchdown against Oregon State before the injury.
He was already playing with a brace on his right elbow, which he dislocated earlier this season. He missed two games because of the injury.
