J.W. Walsh proving his value all over again
J.W. Walsh is the forgotten man in Oklahoma State football these days, but against West Virginia on Saturday, he made his presence felt once again.
The senior impressed in preseason practices, but not enough to beat out Mason Rudolph for the starting role. Against the Mountaineers, however, Walsh found his niche as a red zone quarterback, completing key scores in the fourth quarter and in overtime.
“We have a spot for him, head coach Mike Gundy said. "We’re very fortunate that we have him.”
