Is Utah running back Devontae Booker still the best in the Pac-12?
The Pac-12 is filled with running backs: Christian McCaffrey is a Heisman candidate, Royce Freeman and Nick Wilson are emerging studs and Paul Perkins and Devontae Booker are seasoned veterans.
But Booker had the worst game of his season last week in Utah's loss to USC. Booker, who's otherwise been a star and a Heisman candidate this year, had only 14 touches for just 62 yards and 0 TD's. His longest rush for just 12 yards -- compare with his longest week vs. Cal the previous week, for 62 yards.
Booker has the third-most rushing yards in the conference, with 845 yards, behind Oregon's Royce Freeman and Stanford's Christian McCaffrey. He ranks second in touchdowns, with one less than Freeman.
But according to recent advanced analysis, Booker is still the top overall back in the conference.
