Is South Carolina primed to poach former Louisville commitment?
Could South Carolina be closing in on another commitment to its 2016 class?
Top linebacker prospect T.J. Brunson had pledged his services to Bobby Petrino and the Louisville program for quite sometime. However on Monday, he took to Twitter to decommit from the Cardinals.

For one, Brunson attends Richland Northeast High School in Columbia. It's a mere stone's throw from Williams-Brice Stadium.
Additionally, Brunson was one of the first recruits Will Muschamp visited once he took the head coaching job. As Brunson told The State, "It was a big deal for [Muschamp] to come by after his press conference. It makes a difference, like I'm a priority. It definitely makes a difference in their chances to get me."
Brunson accrued an eye-popping 138 tackles during his senior year in 2015. He' slated to officially visit South Carolina on Jan. 15.
