Is Christian McCaffrey's Heisman bid being hurt by Stanford's late games?

There's no doubt that Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey is deserving of being included in this years Heisman Trophy race.

The star sophomore leads the nation in all-purpose yards with 2,418 and is still on pace to break Barry Sanders' single-season record for all-purpose yards (3,250). McCaffrey has also rushed for over 100 yards in eight straight games and has led No. 11 Stanford to an 8-2 record.

However, McCaffrey's Heisman bid may be hurt by Stanford's late start times this season, as FOX Sports' Bruce Feldman points out.

Stanford's game against Cal will be the team's seventh late start of the season. With the late starts, it is likely that quite a few east coast voters haven't had the chance to see McCaffrey shine.

Could Stanford's schedule really hurt McCaffrey's Heisman bid? It's certainly a concern right now.
