Iowa State promotes Tom Manning to offensive coordinator

Ten years ago, Tom Manning was a high school assistant coach. Now, he'll get a chance to call the shots for a Big 12 offense.

Manning served as an assistant coach for four years under Matt Campbell at Toledo, and he'll make the trek with Campbell to Ames. 

Expect to see more of a commitment to the run game under Manning. Toledo ranked 26th in FBS this season in rushing yards.
