Iowa State names Hofner passing game coordinator

College coaching veteran Jim Hofner will serve as the passing game coordinator on Matt Campbell's staff at Iowa State, according to reports.

 

Hofner has been around the game for quite a while, and has spent 13 years as a college football head coach. Hofner spent the past three seasons as the assistant head coach at Nevada.

 

The wily veteran will work under Tom Manning, who will be in his first season as Iowa State's offensive coordinator.
