Iowa State backup QB Grant Rohach will transfer

Joel Lanning seized the starting quarterback role near the end of the season for Iowa State after several years of Sam B. Richardson at the helm. Between that and a coaching change, backup QB Grant Rohach has decided to transfer.

Rohach hadn't thrown a pass since 2014 and is a junior in terms of eligibility. Rohach beat Kansas State and West Virginia in 2013 as a starter, and he finished his Cyclone career with 10 touchdown passes.
