Huskers OC happy with Armstrong's progression

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are only four practices into fall camp and pads have yet to come on but there have been some standouts so far according to the coaching staff.

After Sunday's practice new offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf was speaking about the offense finding its consistency and rhythm, but had this to offer up about junior quarterback Tommy Armstrong:

“I think he has really put a lot of time into the workouts and throwing with the receivers,” Langsdorf said. “He spent a lot of time studying, we have traded a lot of messages—and I think he has done a good job adjusting. I like how he is progressing.”

With four straight days of installation mode for the offense, there is a lot to take but it is an encouraging sign that Armstrong seems to be doing what the coahces are asking him.

On Tuesday August 11th, the pads come on so all eyes will be on the new offense as the defense is allowed to actually hit them.
