Hugh Freeze comments on Ole Miss' QB competition

A little more than two weeks before the season begins, Ole Miss is without a starting quarterback.

One that’s been named, anyway.

The Rebels will be led by either DeVante Kincade, Ryan Buchanan or Chad Kelly. As of a week ago, there was “no separation” among the three players. That appears to have changed. Freeze commented on the battle today and revealed that there is a player leading the pack.

He’s just not saying who that is.

Most believe that leader is Chad Kelly, the talented transfer from Clemson.

Ole Miss opens its season Sept. 5 against UT Martin.
