The Washington Huskies play their second consecutive road this week, this time facing Pac-12 North rival California.

The Huskies (8–0, 5–0 Pac-12) beat an impressive Utah team last week 31–24 after Dante Pettis’s punt return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Washington is ranked fifth in the initial College Football Playoff Top 25.

California (4–4, 2–3 Pac-12) has one of the nation's prolific passing offense. Quarterback Davis Webb has 29 touchdown passes with almost 3,000 yards and has more passing attempts than any other quarterback in the nation. (415) and has the most touchdown passes (29)

The Bears lost 45–24 to USC last Thursday night after playing the previous Friday night and could be without leading receiver Chad Hansen, who has been nursing an ankle injury.

California broke a six-game losing streak to the Huskies last season by beating them 30–24 in Seattle.
