The Texas A&M Aggies head to Vaught–Hemingway Stadium in Oxford to face the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday night.
Texas A&M fell in the College Football Playoff Rankings to No. 8 after losing to Mississippi State 35–28 and losing quarterback Trevor Knight for the season due to a shoulder injury. Knight was not the most effective player despite the injury as he just completed five of 14 passes for 43 yards while also running for 54 yards and scoring a touchdown.
Ole Miss defeated the Georgia Southern Eagles 37–27 to creep closer to .500 with their 4–5 record. Quarterback Chad Kelly finished the day with 249 total yards and three touchdowns. He also left the game early with a knee and ankle injury.
