UNC with an impressive response

Maye brought the Heels back, however, leading an impressive drive that ended with his 36th touchdown pass of the season.

Back and forth we go

The Ducks had difficulty containing Maye …

… and the result was 14-14 tie as halftime drew near.

Kicking into gear

Oregon was driving when UNC caught a break with a bizarre interception that bounced off Tar Heel cleats like a soccer ball.

Moments later, UNC took a 21-14 lead on yet another Maye touchdown pass, this one a 49-yard dart to Kobe Paysou.

Sticky fingers

After a back-and-forth first half, the third quarter was scoreless, though John Copenhaver did gift viewers a highlight reel catch.

Ducks fly closer

Oregon pulled within three in the fourth quarter, when Bo Nix hit Troy Franklin from 6 yards out.

Lucky Ducks, lucky bounce

Nix led Oregon to a late touchdown to tie the score at 27-27 with 19 seconds left. All the Ducks needed was to make the extra point to pull out the victory. Easy right?

Maybe not easy, but the bank shot went through — barely — and the Ducks pulled out the victory.
