Hauck can't follow rival Choate on Twitter

(STATS) - The rivalry between Montana and Montana State doesn't have an offseason.

Montana coach Bobby Hauck and his Montana State counterpart Jeff Choate tried to have some fun at each other's expense on Twitter on Friday.

Hauck revealed his account can no longer follow Choate's tweets. He posted a photo of the tweet that indicated he's been blocked and wrote, "I've been blocked!!! #BadNeighbor."

Within two hours, Choate tweeted back: "Much to the contrary coach-hauck. Tall fences make good neighbors."

Hauck returned to Montana in December for his second stint with the Grizzlies, having gone 80-17 from 2003-09. Choate is 9-13 in two seasons with the Bobcats, including two wins over Montana.

The rival programs will end the regular season on Nov. 17 at Montana.
