Harris' 'leadership has grown by leaps and bounds,' according to Miles

Since a rough 4-of-14 outing against Eastern Michigan, LSU signal-caller Brandon Harris has performed exceptionally well for the Tigers. It's something head coach Les Miles has definitely taken notice of. 

"A good throw's not good enough anymore," said Miles. "He wants to be very, very accurate." 

This is a far cry from the beginning of the year, when the head coach was questioned at times for not taking the proverbial reins off of Harris in the passing game. With more opportunity has come more production for the quarterback. In turn, Miles' confidence and faith in the signal-caller has seemingly grown.

On the year, Harris has done a terrific job of taking care of the football. He's thrown nine touchdowns and 1,098 yards on the year. Perhaps most impressively, he's yet to throw an interception. Though only a sophomore, Miles has also been impressed with Harris' ability to command the squad. 

"I like his tenacity in his leadership around the team. His leadership has grown by leaps and bounds," said Miles.
