Handful of Fighting Irish working to impress NFL scouts in all-star games
Notre Dame football will be represented by two players in the Senior Bowl this weekend after several Fighting Irish suited up in the East-West Shrine Game last weekend.
Defensive end Sheldon Day and center Nick Martin checked in Tuesday at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., with hopes of improving their draft stocks as they work out in front of numerous NFL coaches and scouts.
Notre Dame DL Sheldon Day: 6-0 3/4, 286. Really helped himself his senior year with jump in production. 3-tech type for a 4-3. #SeniorBowl
