Gophers WR Isaac Fruechte signs with Vikings

Another Gopher is getting an opportunity to live out his NFL dream. Speedy wide receiver Isaac Fruechte has signed with the Vikings, though he is not guaranteed a roster spot. 

According to TwinCities.com, Issac passed his physical on Sunday and he has been giddy ever since:

“I’m kind of at a loss for words,’’ Fruechte said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity. I’m excited for my chance. I hope I can really show these folks that I’ve got some skills and really work hard for this team.’’

It looks like Gophers fans may have yet another Jerry Kill product to cheer for locally.
