Georgia's McKenzie could be SEC's next great playmaker

Isaiah McKenzie made a name for himself early at Georgia. As a freshman in 2014, he returned two punts and a kickoff for touchdowns, and he added six catches and average of 11.1 yards per carry in limited offensive action.

And he wasted no time building on that hype this year, as he reminded everyone of his explosiveness in the spring game with a 73-yard touchdown catch before leaving with a minor hamstring injury. 

The 5-foot-8 sophomore has a unique skill set that could flourish in offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer's system, which is predicated on screens and jet sweeps. With that in mind, he could command significant playing time in the slot and be in for a big increase in offensive touches.

The biggest concern will be keeping the speedster healthy, as his value on kickoff and punt returns simply cannot be replaced. But if he can pull off both roles, he could quickly become known as one of the SEC's more dangerous playmakers.
