Georgia linebacker Stripling injured on kickoff

Georgia freshman T.J. Stripling hurt his right leg covering a kickoff in the first quarter at Colorado and was carted off the field.

Stripling stayed down for several minutes at the Buffaloes 10-yard line while the Bulldogs' athletic trainers immobilized his right knee before placing him in a cart.

There was no immediate word from the Bulldogs on the severity of Stripling's injury.

Stripling is an outside linebacker and special teams player from Decatur, Ga.
