Georgia football extends southern hospitality to marquee performer at spring game
It's been a whirlwind few weeks around Georgia football. And no, we're not talking about the arrival of Kirby Smart to take over the program.
Instead we're talking about the whirlwind in athletic director Greg McGarity's office.
That's because after promising last month that the school would provide a marquee musical performance at this weekend's spring game, well, McGarity openly admitted earlier this week that the musical act hadn't actually been secured.
Then, Georgia fans got the breaking news they were waiting for on Thursday!

Well not quite, but the school did announce on Twitter that it secured that major musical act as Ludacris -- yes, Luda!. He will perform at Saturday's G-Day (spring game) festivities.
Few other details are available, but it's safe to say that the heat is off of McGarity.
Ludacris came through with good old "Southern Hospitality" (see what I did there?!) and will be in Athens on Saturday.
