FSU lands three on Phil Steele all-American teams

A trio of Florida State players were honored on Monday as Phil Steele released his preseason teams and awards.

Leading the way for the Seminoles was junior kicker Roberto Aguayo, who named a preseason all-American first-teamer and the preseason special teams player of the year.

Also receiving honors from Steele was junior cornerback Jalen Ramsey and senior linebacker Terrance Smith.

Ramsey named to the preseason all-American second-team, while Smith received preseason all-American fourth-team honors.

Aguayo is a former Lou Groza Award winner and a two-time all-American. For his career, Aguayo has converted 48 of his 52 field goal attempts for an NCAA record 92.3 field goal percentage.
