FSU announces RB Dalvin Cook has been suspended indefinitely
By Andrew Holleran
Florida State sophomore running back Dalvin Cook has been suspended indefinitely, the school announced today.
The Seminoles’ starting running back is under investigation for battery and there is a warrant out for his arrest, according to multiple reports.
Cook allegedly punched a 21-year-old woman in the face “several times” at a Tallahassee bar after the woman told the student-athlete she had a boyfriend and wasn’t interested in him.
Cook rushed for 1,008 yards and eight touchdowns as a freshman last season. Florida State opens its season Sept. 5 against Texas State.
