Fournette posts tribute to Syracuse legends ahead of LSU's game vs. Orange
Leonard Fournette is college football’s most-talented running back since . . .
You can answer that question however you like (Adrian Peterson is our answer), but the LSU star appears to be well on his way to becoming one of the best in the sport at his position. Through two games, the true sophomore totaled 387 yards and six touchdowns, and caused a heck of a lot of embarrassment for the defenders who’ve attempted to stop him.
Fournette will likely add a ton of yards and a couple of touchdowns to his stat line tomorrow, when LSU faces a severely under-matched Syracuse team.
And yet, while the Orange are down right now, they have produced some of the best ever at Fournette’s position. Friday afternoon, the Heisman Trophy candidate paid tribute to those players.

Anything short of another excellent performance from Fournette on Saturday will come as a surprise.
