Four former Blue Devils expected to be on NFL rosters in 2015

With the 2015 NFL draft approaching, some former Duke players are preparing for their professional football careers to commence. Brian Evans of DukeReport.com expects four ex-Blue Devils to be picked up by an NFL team either during or immediately after the draft.

The first Duke product off the board will be guard Laken Tomlinson, according to DukeReport.com and most other draft pundits. After Tomlinson, receiver Jamison Crowder figures to be the next of head coach David Cutcliffe's pupils to be selected. Tomlinson may start right away, while Crowder is forced to carve out a career on special teams before getting a serious look on offense.

Offensive tackle Takoby Cofield might hear his name called during one of the later rounds, DukeReport.com suspects. Quarterback Anthony Boone, on the other hand, is more likely to get an opportunity as an undrafted free agent. Both players will have to put up a fight in training camp for a final roster spot.
