Former Oklahoma State player Hill bound over for trial

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) Former Oklahoma State football player Tyreek Hill has been bound over for trial on an assault charge that led to his dismissal from the team.

The Tulsa World reports that Hill (http://bit.ly/1aY439P ) appeared Monday in Payne County District Court. Trial was set for April 17.

Hill's attorney says her client plans to enter a plea of not guilty before trial.

Hill has been charged with domestic assault and battery by strangulation. The woman Hill allegedly attacked in December was described in a Stillwater police report as having been his girlfriend since June.

Hill was kicked off the team a few days after the charges were announced.
