Former Husker Ameer Abdullah signs with Lions
It's official. Ameer Abdullah has signed his deal with the Detroit Lions. The former Husker signed the deal on Wednesday. The deal is said to be for four years and around $4 million per the slotting rules in the CBA.
The shifty running back was originally thought to be a third down back during the draft process but he has quickly changed people's minds. He has been listed on numerous lists of players to watch out for in this draft class that can make an instant impact.
The Lions also tweeted out this picture of the signing with Ameer and his brother who serves as his agent:
