Five-star prospect Landon Dickerson schedules Tennessee visit

With just over a week left until National Signing Day, schools are running out of time to make an impression on recruits before the final declarations are made. That being said, Tennessee landed a small victory over the weekend as Under Armour All-American offensive lineman Landon Dickerson announced he would take an official visit to see the Volunteers before signing day.

Dickerson is rated as a five-star prospect and the No. 2 overall prospect in the state of North Carolina according to 247Sports. Dickerson is likely to choose between Tennessee, Florida State, Auburn, Florida or Alabama. The high school All-American is coming off an official visit to Tuscaloosa last weekend, which unsurprisingly impressed:

The Volunteers have set up the final weekend before signing day to be their biggest official visit weekend of the season. Also visiting this weekend will be fellow Under Armour All-American quarterback Jarrett Guarantano, who took time to recruit Dickerson to Knoxville during the Under Armour week leading up to the all-star event:

Uncommitted prospects scheduled to be in attendance include: defensive tackle Derrick Brown, safety Nigel Warrior, receiver Ahmmon Richards, as well as Miami cornerback commit Tyler Byrd. Prospects already committed to Tennessee that will be visiting include: running back Carlin Fils-aime, tight end Devante Brooks, linebacker Daniel Bituli, receiver Corey Henderson, tight end Austin Pope and linebacker Ja'Quain Blakely.

Last recruiting season, the Tennessee staff was able to convince five-star prospect Drew Richmond to flip from Ole Miss to the Vols on the final weekend before National Signing Day, can they show enough this weekend to convince this year's crop of talented recruits that orange is the color that best suits them?
